Tasks & Kanban
AI reads every task the moment it's created.
Kanban board, approval flows, reminders and search.
The problem
A badly written task is a late task.
Tasks without acceptance criteria, with vague scope or conflicting with other work surface mid-sprint. By the time the team notices, the time is already spent.
AI in this module
Analyses every task on creation.
- Scope fit and description quality: clarity, acceptance criteria, scope and context (4 × 25 points)
- Technical conflict check against existing tasks
- Suggests the likely source task for a new bug; a person confirms the match
What you can do
Kanban and list
Drag-and-drop Kanban with in-column ordering and a list view; subtasks, labels, acceptance criteria.
Review flow
To do → In progress → In review → Done; send-backs are recorded with a reason. Reviews over 24h are flagged.
Dependencies and blocking
Task-to-task dependencies (with cycle checks); blocking reasons from a company or an employee.
Automatic time logging
The timer starts when a task goes in progress and stops when it leaves. Manual entries are capped at 24h a day and 30 days back.
Deadline alerts
Assignee 2 days before, team lead 1 day before; PM on the day, and escalating to the department manager when overdue.
Search and restore
Global search across projects, tasks, people, files (including OCR text) and threads; restore deleted tasks.
Who uses it and how
Member
Runs their tasks on Kanban; time logging happens automatically.
Team Lead
Manages reviews, and can force a status or reopen a completed task when needed.
PM / Quality
Follows delays and deadline alerts on project tasks.
Frequently asked
Does the AI change tasks itself?
No. The AI analyses and produces signals; the team decides. In bug matching a person confirms the suggestion too.
Can we use our own status flow?
Yes. If you define a workflow template, allowed transitions follow the template.
